The whetstone set consists of a case made from hinoki wood and a whetstone. This originally designed whetstone can be removed from the case and reversed to provide the perfect angle to support the smooth sharpening of blades. The whetstone itself is made from the highest quality Japanese whetstone in a composite of 1000 and 6000 grade whetstone.
